Phycobiliprotein hoạt hoá

Phycobiliprotein hoạt hóa có thể dễ dàng liên hợp với kháng thể và các protein khác mà không cần sử dụng thêm các tác nhân liên kết chéo hóa học. Các phycobiliprotein tinh khiết cao này vẫn duy trì được các đặc điểm quang phổ của chúng khi liên hợp. Phycobiliprotein hoạt hóa của Agilent đã được xử lý bằng SMCC phản ứng với các nhóm lysine của chúng, để lại các nhóm maleimide có thể phản ứng với các nhóm sulfhydryl tự do trên các protein được liên hợp với chúng. Chúng đã sẵn sàng để sử dụng và sẽ liên hợp mà không cần chuẩn bị thêm khi trộn với các chất mục tiêu chứa sulfhydryl.

  • Agilent RPE activated with SMCC (succinimidyl 4-[N-maleimidomethyl]-cyclohexane-1-carboxylate). After a buffer exchange step, the product was filtered using a 0.45 µm membrane and stored in a sterile container. Activated R-PE can be easily conjugated to antibodies and other proteins by conventional protein cross-linking techniques without altering its spectral characteristics (see conjugation kit PJ31K).
  • Agilent GT5 APC (Spirulina platensis) crosslinked and then activated with SMCC (succinimidyl 4-[N-maleimidomethyl]-cyclohexane-1-carboxylate). After a buffer exchange step, the product was filtered using a 0.45 µm membrane and stored in a sterile container. Activated APC can be easily conjugated to antibodies and other proteins by conventional protein cross-linking techniques without altering its spectral characteristics.
